Looking for a fun event to attend this weekend? Take a trip to Asbury Woods. Test your knowledge and learn about the history of syrup production from Native American times to current day. Watch a demonstration in the Asbury Woods’ Sugar Shack as the operators boil sap from the Sugar Maple trees into syrup. Come hungry! There will be samples available of maple products as well as maple products for sale. How can you have maple syrup without a pancake? Pancakes and syrup will be included in the admission price. There will be crafts and activities for kids to take part in. Come hear some wonderful live historic folk music.  There will also be live small animal presentations and other activities.

Asbury Woods Maple Festival 2014 Details

Asbury Woods Maple Festival will be held at Asbury Woods. Asbury Woods is a nature center that is located at 4105 Asbury Road Erie, PA 16506. Phone number to the center is 835-5336. The Maple Festival is on Saturday and Sunday April 5th and 6th from 11 a.m to 4 p.m. Cost is $5 for current members, $7 per person for non-members, children under 3 are free.
